Synopsis
This lecture explores the profound social, economic, and ethical implications of wealth and poverty in today’s world. Drawing on global trends and personal responsibility, it challenges attendees to reflect on their own roles in shaping equitable futures. The presentation will highlight the individual power we have once we understand our own motivations. Participants will leave empowered to make meaningful contributions and to use a personal ecosystem to guide their change. Ultimately, this keynote asks each of us to consider: In the face of inequality, what will you do to foster change?

Zachary Walker
| Professor Zachary Walker is the Head of Educational Leadership and Policy at the Education University of Hong Kong. He is recognised as an expert in individual and organisational performance. Zachary is an EMCC Endorsed Executive Coach, a Principal Fellow with the Higher Education Academy and a UK Graduate Council for Education Recognised Research Supervisor. Professor Walker began his career at Singapore’s National Institute of Education before becoming the Head of Psychology and Human Development at University College London's Institute of Education. Over the past 15 years, Professor Walker has worked with educators and policymakers in more than 40 countries on topics related to leadership, inclusion and innovative practice. |
