In a commentary, Winston Chow, SMU Lee Kong Chian Professor of Urban Climate and Co-Chair of the IPCC Working Group II, argued that collaboration and long-term planning are critical to climate resilience. He noted that Singapore remains vulnerable to external shocks and added that by advancing science-based collaboration, Singapore can help strengthen regional resilience, which is essential for stability and sustainable development.
