Faculty Profile

Daniel Seah is a public international lawyer by training, and examines ASEAN law and emerging technologies, such as misinformation, open-source governance and "open-washing", through an interdisciplinary lens. His research engages ASEAN and Singapore-centric legal developments. Daniel obtained his PhD in law at UCL.

Daniel has received various teaching excellence awards, including his induction into the Core Curriculum Hall of Fame for Teaching Excellence. He is a recipient of the 2025 Educational Research Fellowship to advance the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning through a mixed-methods study on faculty perceptions of fair grading in neurodiverse classrooms.
