The scholarship will be awarded to a CIS student pursuing a Bachelor of Integrative Studies. It aims to support enterprising students to forge a unique, inter-disciplinary learning path to ultimately make meaningful impact on communities.


The Changemaker International Exchange Scholarship is established for outstanding undergraduates who are enrolled in the College of Integrative Studies Programme. Changemakers think about and experience the world differently. They forge a path to create a better alternative than the status quo. This exchange scholarship pays it forward for the world you can create for all of us.


The ONE15 Sustainability Scholarship was established by SUTL Enterprise Limited (“SUTL”) to motivate outstanding undergraduates enrolled in the College of Integrative Studies who want to expand their learning across traditional academic disciplines by examining how environmental, social and governance aspects of sustainability affect communities.


This scholarship aims to support bright freshmen enrolled in the College of Integrative Studies with demonstrated financial needs to achieve academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.


The Mind The Gap Fund is supported by an anonymous Singaporean donor who also established the Tow Tiang Seng and Tan Soon Kwee Endowed Grants and other initiatives in Singapore Management University. The donor hopes that the Mind The Gap Fund will provide a more level playing field to students in the College of Integrative Studies. Through his donations to different charities in Singapore, the donor hopes that recipients will eventually pay it forward and help the needy when they are able to in the future.

The grant is to encourage CIS students to reside in Prinsep Street Residences (PSR), Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents will be entitled to 50% off the monthly accommodation rate. International students who are awarded the CIS Residency Grant will be entitled to 25% off the monthly accommodation rate.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Recipients of the CIS Residency Grant must be CIS undergraduates.
  • Recipients of the CIS Residency Grant are expected to make PSR their primary residence during term time.
  • Recipients of the CIS Residency Grant are expected to participate actively in PSR activities.

The grant provides discretionary funding for CIS students who are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents to pursue an activity that supports their entrepreneurial, intellectual, social-enterprise endeavour(s), personal and/or professional development; where it is relevant to their CIS programme and/or especially where it also benefits the larger CIS community. Some non-exhaustive examples of qualifying activities include local/overseas conferences, SMU-XO courses, C4SR projects, startup grants, certification courses etc.

The fund provides discretionary funding for all CIS students to pursue an activity that supports their entrepreneurial, intellectual, social-enterprise endeavour(s), personal and/or professional development; where it is relevant to their CIS programme and/or especially where it also benefits the larger CIS community. Some non-exhaustive examples of qualifying activities include local/overseas conferences, SMU-XO courses, C4SR projects, startup grants, certification courses etc.
