Assistant Professor of Urban Studies; Urban Fellow (Urban Governance)
Andrew’s research interrogates the social and political dimensions of digital urbanism around the world, with a focus on China and Southeast Asia. His work draws on urban theory, political economy, and science and technology studies (STS). He also has ongoing research projects on the political economy of new city development, the geopolitics of infrastructure, state capitalism, and digital innovation policy.
