Metal plaque with a specially written message from Professor Arthur Lim (head of the eye department at Singapore General Hospital) and Mrs Lim Poh Geok. Almost 1,000 people attended the dinner on 12 April 1996 at the Shangri-La Hotel, including President Ong Teng Cheong and Mrs Ong and former First Lady Puan Noor Aishah.
