Measure interdisciplinary

In a commentary, Dean of the SMU College of Integrative Studies and Professor of Political Science Elvin Lim and SMU Assistant Professor of Law (Education) Daniel Seah, discussed how interdisciplinary learning can be measured. They explained that a benchmark of success for interdisciplinary learning is graduates who have the flexibility to examine their areas of interest and develop attributes that deliver practical value to future employers, and shared how SMU's College of Integrative Studies pioneered an individualised approach for undergraduates' final-year project and helped them develop an agency through lifelong learning.
